103.2fm Interview with Pro Makeup Artist Trixie

Last week I was invited into Leicester Radio 103.2fm to talk all things makeup and upcoming events.

Watch video below of Trixie on her way into the radio station…

It was really fun talking with Georgia Mackay who is an absolute professional broadcasting interviewer, and she managed to guide me through the process with an easy expertise.

We had the opportunity to discuss my favourite subject, makeup, along with product choices, bridal makeup, LFW and what I had been doing since my last interview with Georgia at around the same time last year.  To which I duly filled her in and explained that every year I become busier and busier with brides and bridal makeup, not to mention selected wedding events around the region and christmas party makeup appointments that are usually fully booked up in my calendar by the end of October at the very latest, plus much more.

However, I wanted to let Georgia’s listeners know about an event I am involved with tomorrow night , Thursday 5 October 2017. A Charity Event in aid of ‘Hope Against Cancer’ that is being held at the Leicester Arena. It is ‘An evening with Peter Andre’ and is supported by Betty Brown Boutique who is opening this wonderful occasion with a super gorgeous fashion show.  There are approximately 12 models to prep for hair and makeup, with a few local professional makeup artists assisting.  We are responsible for all model makeup applications and also hair styling. The look decided upon is going to be ‘very italian’ and I know the clothes will be just beautiful.

So I’m very proud to be part of this event, and I hope to see everyone out in support. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and cost from £15.

Georgia did give info out on air at the time and we also had some makeup questions come into us over the telephone, which was great as I could connect with listeners on a more specific level.  If you were listening in, thank you and here’s to another future interview and time spent with the lovely Georgia, next year.

Stay Fabulous!!
