Atmospheric Ballet Bridal Fusion

So its been a while….

Ever seen Ballet Bridal Fashion photographed in this way?
Well this was the idea of Paul Massey owner and creative genius at Massey Photography Lincoln.

I was fortunate enough to have been invited onto this shoot by Paul as Makeup Artist and Stylist/Movement Coach and I’m so grateful, because just look at these amazingly beautiful and atmospheric images that he has captured.ballet-272-of-282-14

Makeup design by myself, Trixie, was initially soft (bridal) and both dramatically themed (ballet) makeup to offer as a bridal/ballerina fashion fusion look. With soft pinks, whites and glitter sprinkles added to create beautiful, fantasy ballet bridal beauty, and also rich and luxurious tones with sparkle accents, enhanced by pretty accessories.

In hindsight, I believe we touched on the ballet fantasies of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and ‘Cinderella’ as the images are stunning and speak for themselves.

Paul gave us intriguing silhouettes that just make you want to immerse yourself into the picture and study every detail available in the super strategic shadows that were expertly layered by Paul’s knowledge of shooting in this specific and showcased the flowing movement of the gowns.
His new assistant Sophie was just a real gem and added lots of fun to the shoot, making a short behind the scenes video of our day in the studio, with the usual, amusing ‘outtake’ after the credits at the end and was a real pleasure to work with.

Our Professional Model/Dancer was the insanely gorgeous and extremely talented Alexandra Sarrafan, Leicester born and now living and working out of London with past assignments untaken world wide. We were very lucky to have Alex on board with us, not to mention, extremely grateful for her contribution and dedication to our overall achievement of our vision.
